Olney No Kings Protests Bring a Street Party Vibe!

Olney No Kings Protests on October 18, 2025 and again on March 28, 2026 brought absolutely electric energy, joy, and solidarity. From planning, setup, safety, engagement, art & media, to cleanup — our amazing EmpowHERed team made it safe, fun, and impactful.

At our family friendly activity stations; Unity Rock Painting Station, Soul Streamers & Freedom Finders Bingo children explored creativity while learning what it means to protest, speak freely, and stand up for a brighter future — their future.

The Democracy Graveyard came to life in ways more moving and powerful than we ever imagined. Visitors were invited down a solemn path lined with markers symbolizing the rights and freedoms now under threat — a powerful reminder that democracy demands we stand guard. The visual impact was haunting yet hopeful, calling each of us to vigilance and action.

Our “Good Treble Choir,” a powerful all-women vocal ensemble, led a resistance sing-along. Their voices rose together in celebration of community and the enduring power of people standing together through music. As the crowd joined in, the performance became a shared moment of solidarity, healing, and inspiration.

But the real stars were the estimated 1,800-2,000 neighbors, friends & family who showed up EACH TIME — uniting in purpose and standing shoulder to shoulder with true American pride. Together, we embodied the strength and spirit of a community that refuses to be silent. 🇺🇸

Our creative, fierce, and compassionate sisterhood once again rose to the challenge — with unstoppable positivity and purpose - and made an undeniable difference.
